Farmers & Merchants Bank

Tyler Cox is the Vice President and Prairie County Loan Officer for our Southeast Arkansas market, focusing on commercial, consumer and agricultural loans.  

Cox earned a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Business from Arkansas State University and is an alumnus of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking from Southern Methodist University. He also holds a certification in advanced commercial lending from the American Banking Association. Cox has six years of lending experience with Farmers and Merchants Bank. 

In addition to his work at the bank, Cox serves the local community as Treasurer for the Des Arc Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman for the Des Arc Housing Authority. He also sits on the board of directors for the DAIDC. In his spare time, Cox enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
