Vansandt Promoted to Chief Lending Officer

April 16, 2019 (Stuttgart, AR)Farmers and Merchants Bank President and CEO Gary Hudson announces the promotion of Kirk Vansandt to Chief Lending Officer of Farmers and Merchants Bank. The position becis role will be effective June 3, 2019. During this time, the current CLO will be taking on various administrative duties. As Farmers and Merchants Bank continues to grow, there will be periods of transition and we look forward to what the future holds for our institution.

Kirk Vansandt, Senior Vice President/Eastern Market President/Loan Officer, of DeWitt, has been promoted as the new Chief Lending Officer. After graduating DeWitt High School in 1988, Kirk attended college at the University of Central Arkansas graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He began his career with the bank in September 2008 as a Loan Officer, and was promoted in 2013 as Senior Vice President. He will now also have an office in the Stuttgart location. Kirk says “I look forward to the opportunity to work with the great group of lenders and banking staff we have across the state from Farmers & Merchants and Bank of Fayetteville. As well as the upcoming merger with Integrity First Bank and their employees as we have the common goal of serving our customers and our communities.” Kirk and his wife Holly reside in St. Charles. In his spare time, Kirk enjoys hunting and being outdoors with family and friends.
